Basketball is an excellent sport for developing fundamental movement skills, as well as improving balance and coordination. Students build their basketball skills and master the quick thinking necessary to excel in this sport as a player and as part of a team.

Our fully equipped gym comes with an incredible amount of space, all kinds of quality equipment, and the facility to complete any manner of workout. Always a popular choice at TASIS England, students learn from the fitness team, who will support them with workouts, give training advice, or lead those who prefer guidance. Due to the nature of the sport and facility, students must be over 14 to use the gym.

Flag football is a non-contact version of American football where players wear flags that are pulled off to stop play instead of tackling. It’s a great way to enjoy the strategy and excitement of football while minimizing the risk of injury.

One of the many benefits of the location of our beautiful campus near London is that Berkshire Riding Centre is just a short distance from TASIS England. Whether absolute beginners or experienced riders, students have the chance to participate at this highly commended, British Horse Society approved riding school.

Kickboxing uses techniques from Boxing, Muay Thai, Karate, and Tae Kwon-Do to provide a great full-body workout for those wanting to improve their martial arts skills. Classes start with a warm-up and stretch, then move into learning various techniques focusing on agility, strength, coordination, and flexibility. Students will use focus pads and kick shields as well as defense application drills and games.

Students can find out why they call it the beautiful game! Soccer is a popular sport at TASIS England, encouraging healthy competitiveness and teamwork.

We have a proud history of tennis at TASIS. Players of all levels can play with and against each other. Student will enjoy this game while learning how to improve on techniques of volley and serve.

Ultimate Frisbee is a fast-paced team sport that combines elements of soccer, basketball, and football, played with a flying disc (Frisbee). Teams score points by catching the disc in the opposing end zone, and players can’t run with it—only pivot. It’s known for its emphasis on sportsmanship and the "Spirit of the Game," which encourages fair play and respect among players. 

Playing this popular sport, students learn to apply the techniques of volleyball to play the game effectively. Teamwork is important in this game and students will build their social and communication skills.

Focused relaxation offers a completely different way to spend sports time. Conditioning exercises build up core stability and strength, while balance and flexibility are developed through movement patterns. Breathing techniques can also help with mental well-being.

Zumba is a fun, energetic dance workout that combines Latin and international music with dance moves. It’s a great way to get fit while having a blast! The routines incorporate interval training, which can help boost cardiovascular fitness.
