Each year TASIS students donate shoeboxes for 'Operation Christmas Child' a charity organized by Samaritan's Purse. Students wrap a shoebox, decide what age child their box is for, and then fill it with thoughtful gifts. The shoebox is then collected by the charity and sent to needy children in different countries around the world in time for Christmas.

This year, lower, middle and upper school students donated approximately 350 shoeboxes! Today, excited students carried festive boxes filled with carefully selected gifts to the lorry waiting outside, each box destined for a child who may not have a another present to open this Christmas.

A volunteer from the charity commented, “It is always a pleasure to come to TASIS, the gifts are always such good quality and the quantity increases every year!”
