Visiting Oxford!
Posted 24/08/2018 08:43AM

IB students who are taking “Theory of Knowledge”(ToK) visited two museums in Oxford yesterday, the second day of school. At the Ashmolean Museum, Britain’s first public museum of art and archaeology in the world, the students saw the Aegean World gallery, which links to their visit of Knossos during their ToK October trip. The purpose of visiting the Pitt-Rivers Museum, one of the world’s most celebrated museums of ethnography, was to explore one of the Areas of Knowledge in the ToK course: Indigenous Knowledge Systems.
