Before Spring Break, TASIS IB students and teachers gathered to celebrate the International Baccalaureate's 50th anniversary. Using the question "What Can IB?" as the theme of the day, students were encouraged to think about how they would like to define the next 50 years. To commemorate the first 50 years of the IB, students shared a video about the program at TASIS and took photos showing who they aspire to become. Everyone enjoyed the tasty treats, including special IB cupcakes made by Mrs. De Alwis. A highlight of the event was the opportunity to meet a member of the first-ever class of IB students, Mr. Mika Reinikainen, who also happens to be the husband of TASIS England's Director of Student Activities/CAS, Mrs. Uta Reinikainen.
