AP Recognition Week!
21 AP Scholars, all seniors, have been honored for their stellar academic achievements on AP (Advanced Placement) exams in the past few years. AP classes are university-level courses in a range of academic subjects. AP Scholar recognition falls into three categories: AP Scholars, AP Scholars with Honors, AP Scholars with Distinction based on how many exams students took and their scores. AP students have the possibility of earning college credits at the university to which they matriculate based on AP scores and university policies. This year at TASIS, we have 126 students taking 320 AP courses. Since TASIS began offering AP courses in 1992, there have been 2,883 test takers. We are extremely proud of all of our AP students who opt to take some of the most demanding high school level courses available to them demonstrating a tremendous amount of rigor in their academic program.
