Upper school IB art students presented a selection of artwork for the IB final art exhibition, which opened on 23rd March to the TASIS community.
The art studio has been buzzing over the past few weeks in preparation for the exhibit, where key pieces of artwork from senior students are displayed. All in attendance appreciated the hard work of the talented seniors, which showcased many different mediums, colors and unusual ideas.
The exhibition runs between 26-31 March in Magna Carta Hall.
Do you have a favorite piece?
James: “My favorite piece is the large pen drawing of London, I enjoyed creating such a detailed piece, I find intricate work the most inspiring.”
What inspires you?
Polina: “I once ate the most delicious lobster, the texture, the vibrant color and the unusual shape inspired me to create many of the pieces in my collection. I find that some things draw you in as if they have chosen you and you don’t know why but suddenly inspiration occurs.”
