Afternoon tea made by students and faculty.
Over the past few years TASIS students have been getting to know local elderly residents through Thorpe Community Link. Facilitated by Faculty advisors, Gretal Veryard-Arcay and Uta Reinikainen, students have hosted residents at afternoon teas, school theatre and musical events.

As Graduation draws near, some heartfelt goodbyes are said, as three students in TCL will be leaving for university at the end of term. At the farewell tea, local resident, Pam Daly presented gifts of thanks and said a few words of encouragement, “I want to thank you all for organizing these wonderful afternoon teas and for taking the time to build relationships between the older generation that live in Thorpe. We wish you all well and hope that you will be happy wherever you travel to from here.”
