Summer Courses & Programs
A summer at TASIS England is one that our students never forget. We offer an exciting and varied range of challenging and rewarding summer courses, ideal for students who want to improve their English, develop an interest, or explore something new.
TASIS England Summer Program faculty members are experienced, professional educators. Those that teach the English Language program usually hold recognized British or American teaching qualifications. We select our teachers based on the quality of their degrees or relevant work experience as well as for their energy and enthusiasm for working with young people.
Small classes ensure our students benefit from personalized instruction and individual attention. The friendly interaction between staff and students within an environment of mutual respect enriches the learning experience. TASIS England’s location in the UK means there are plenty of opportunities to travel into London and other sites of historical and cultural interest during the program.
TASIS runs a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Summer Program.
Students must bring their own laptops for their courses.
Course Selection
Main course options include both academic and enrichment subjects. Some elevate the learning experience with field trips to explore the historical and cultural aspects of London and southern England.
Elective courses encourage students to discover new things and learn new skills. This is a fantastic way for students to try things they are interested in without having the immediate commitment of a full-time course.
Beyond the Classroom
During their free time, students participate in the wide variety of activities on offer every day, and evening social events add to the fun. Physical activity is a vital part of our Summer Program and, under the guidance of professional coaches, students are encouraged to explore the range of sports on offer – from archery to horse riding, tennis to yoga, and more! Most use the excellent facilities available on our beautiful, 46-acre campus located in leafy Surrey, near London. Weekends are the time to explore all that London and the English countryside has to offer through our chaperoned trips and excursions.
