As an international school in the UK, TASIS England is both private and independent. On our spacious and historic Surrey campus, our school is comprised of three distinct sections: Lower, Middle, and Upper School.

Lower School

Lower School

Our Lower School curriculum combines traditional and innovative elements to create a joyful learning environment. Each learner enjoys engaging lessons in the classroom and fascinating outdoor activities, all designed to promote their natural curiosity and a desire to learn.

Learning and exploration begin at age 3 with an Early Years curriculum that harnesses the power of play. In Kindergarten through to Grade 4 (ages 5 to 9), this energetic age group receives a well-rounded program that incudes academic subjects and the creative arts. Students are encouraged to discover the world around them, developing social and emotional skills in addition to traditional competencies in core subjects such as English, mathematics, and science.

Middle School

Middle School

TASIS England offers a balanced and holistic education to its students aged 10 to 13. As expectations increase for our Middle School students, our faculty works to offer a variety of social, academic, and leadership opportunities to help them develop as young people. These years are a time of change, and students need a structured but caring environment in order to make sense of their new maturing selves.

Our leafy Surrey campus is an inviting place to learn and lessons are interesting and engaging. In this nurturing academic climate, children can begin to reach their full potential as they are encouraged to find their voice, uncover their passions, and build skills they will use for life.

Upper School

Upper School

Upper School students (ages 14 to 18) are immersed in broad and demanding study programs. TASIS England offers the options of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme and Advanced Placement courses, and we work with each student to create a bespoke learning journey all the way through to graduation. Our faculty provide support and guidance as students develop their independence and take ownership of their learning.

Balance continues to be provided by a broad range of co-curricular activities as well as service and leadership opportunities.These challenging but rewarding Upper School years prepare our students for future success in universities and colleges in the UK, the US, and worldwide.

Our School offers students the best of both worlds: a beautiful, spacious campus and proximity to the vibrant capital city of London. Surrey is a delightful county, and Thorpe is close to other historical towns such as Egham, Richmond, Esher, Epsom, and Cobham.

The 46-acre campus in the charming village of Thorpe, Surrey, includes incredible facilities such as three libraries, a modern theatre, amazing sports facilities, and high-quality classrooms as well as extensive green spaces and playing fields.

TASIS England is ideally located close to London, other large towns such as Reading, and Heathrow airport. Students benefit from regular field trips to West End theatres, museums, and art galleries.
