The Fleming Theatre is the hub of performance at TASIS. With a 300-seat capacity and a fully professional technical lighting and sound rig, it gives our students an authentic experience of live performance whether on stage, behind the scenes, or as part of the audience.
The Fleming Theatre hosts all school productions, from the Fourth and Fifth Grade Theatre Night presentations to the Middle and Upper School musical productions.
Upper School students in the Drama and IB Theatre Arts classes also perform a wide variety of dramatic pieces, and the theatre is frequently used by students to showcase their directorial, dramatic, dance, and musical talents. In addition, the school hosts professional theatre companies and performers throughout the year.
Student productions have included The Addams Family, The Wind in the Willows, The 39 Steps, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Aladdin Jr., Grease, Our Town, The Government Inspector, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer's Night Dream, and the annual Blues Night and Talent Show – all staged in the Fleming Theatre.
