7. TASIS England Cancellation Policy
If the ski trip for which a student has signed up is cancelled by the organizer because it is undersubscribed, parents and student will be informed as soon as the decision is made and they will receive a full refund.
If the family cancels the student’s participation in the trip, the following cancellation charges are applicable:
a. Cancellation by 30 September: 0%
b. Cancellation between 1 October – 30 October: 50%
c. Cancellation between 1 November and departure: 100%
8. Parent's or Guardian's Agreement
I agree to my child named above taking part in the indicated TASIS England February Ski Trip 2019. I have read the trip information on the TASIS England website and agree to my child’s participation in the activities described. To the best of my knowledge, the information I have given is correct and the child named above has my permission to engage in all the trip’s activities, unless otherwise noted and indicated in an enclosed written doctor’s report. I accept full responsibility for any claims, losses, expenses or liabilities arising out of, or related to, my child’s participation in the trip.
I hereby give permission to the trip’s organizers (school chaperones, school staff, travel professional accompanying the group) to authorize, on my behalf, any emergency medical care (including surgery and blood transfusion) which, on the recommendation of qualified medical personnel, may be deemed necessary. In such circumstances, I understand that the trip’s organizers will seek to advise me, or the designated emergency contact person, at the earliest possible convenience. I understand the extent and limitations of the insurance cover provided and I accept the cancellation policy.
I acknowledge the need for my child to behave responsibly and I agree to the travel rules published on the TASIS England website. I understand and accept that should my child possess or consume any drugs or alcohol, smoke, or in the opinion of the trip’s organizers behave in a way incompatible with the trip at any time, that I may be asked to make immediate arrangements for him/her to leave the trip at my expense and return home.
