Financial Assistance
We offer means-tested financial assistance which may be awarded to any qualifying student (day or boarding, local or international) who satisfies our academic requirements. The award amount is based on several factors, including the:
- Demonstrated financial need of the family
- Available funds in the financial aid budget
- Total number of students needing financial assistance
We do our best to help as many families as much as possible and our average awards range between 5% - 25% of the tuition fees.
All applicants are required to submit supporting evidence of their income, capital, and other assets. Means testing is carried out annually, and levels of support will fluctuate with parental income.
To apply for means-tested financial assistance, please follow the steps below. If you require more information, please contact our Admissions Office by emailing ukadmissions@tasisengland.org.
Applying for Financial Assistance: Step by Step
New Students
Our process for requesting consideration for financial assistance as a new applicant to our School is as follows:
Step One – Express your interest in applying for financial assistance by sending an email to ukadmissions@tasisengland.org.
-
Please share the name of the student candidate and the grade to which they are applying.
-
Students must be accepted or enrolled at TASIS England for the full academic year to be considered for financial assistance.
Step Two – You will receive the Financial Assistance Application.
Please complete the Financial Assistance Application and supply all supporting documentation requested for a means-test analysis. This information should be submitted to the email address shown on the application form. In addition, the TASIS England admission application and the £200 application fee must be received prior to consideration for financial assistance.
Step Three – Your Financial Assistance Application will be assessed.
Once your child has been accepted or is enrolled, the Financial Assistance Committee will consider your completed Financial Assistance Application and all supporting documentation. After the Committee has met, you will receive notification of their decision. If approved, a confirmation letter will be sent advising you of the amount awarded and requesting your enrollment deposit.
Step Four – If successful, you’ll need to sign a Letter of Agreement.
If financial assistance is offered and accepted, parents or guardians are required to sign a letter agreeing to the School’s conditions relating to the financial assistance awarded. Once you have received your Financial Assistance Letter of Agreement, please contact us at ukadmissions@tasisengland.org should you wish to discuss it further.
Re-enrolling Students
Financial assistance is awarded on an annual basis; therefore, families must apply each year in order to continue receiving assistance. Families who are currently receiving financial assistance will receive notice to re-apply with an updated application from the Business Office. If you wish to re-apply, please complete the Financial Assistance Application and send it along with the supporting documentation to the email address shown on the application form, then follow steps three through four above.
Our Global Community Scholarship
TASIS England’s mission is to nurture intellectual curiosity and to embolden each learner to flourish as a principled, open-minded, and compassionate member of a global community. Scholarship candidates should demonstrate excellence in:
- Learning through curiosity
- Ownership of their learning process
- Character development
- Commitment to service and community
Our Global Community Scholarships are non-means-tested awards available to both day and boarding students entering from Grade 8 (Year 9) to Grade 11 (Year 12) who are excelling in their academic studies as well as in the sports, arts, or voluntary/community work, and who have the potential to make an exceptional contribution to our School. One of our scholarships will be reserved for alumni of our Summer Program.
A limited number of Scholarships are offered based on several factors. The value of the Scholarship awarded will be determined by the number of applicants, quality of the application, and the total amount of funds available. Average awards range between £500 and £2,500, with larger awards for exceptional candidates. The award will be deducted from the tuition fees.
Families and students who apply for means-tested financial assistance will also be considered for a Global Community Scholarship. Families and students who apply for Scholarships will not automatically be considered for financial assistance.
To be considered for our Global Community Scholarships, students must either be accepted to, or enrolled at, TASIS England and meet the additional scholarship application requirements outlined below.
We seek to be an inclusive school that embraces diversity, and we welcome applications from all backgrounds.
Scholarships are made towards the cost of the fees (including lunches and text books). The School may meet the costs charged by the exam boards for International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement examinations.

- It is the intent and expectation that the student will continue to receive the same award amount every year they are enrolled at TASIS England.
- The School also expects the student to consistently maintain high standards of behavior and academic performance, and contribute positively to the school community. However, we understand that students will experience challenges and temporary lapses of judgment, and the School will continue to support the student and maintain the scholarship award.
- The Scholarship would only be reviewed and/or withdrawn if the student’s conduct on or away from campus indicates that they are consistently out of sympathy with the mission, commitments, outcomes (ideals and objectives), and program of the School, or they are failing one or more academic courses. The student and family will be notified if the Scholarship is under review and all reasonable opportunities to support the student and maintain the Scholarship will be attempted before withdrawing the Scholarship for the following academic year.
