TASIS England Celebrates Advanced Placement (AP) Exam Success

TASIS The American School in England is delighted to announce the 2020 AP exam results.

TASIS England is extremely proud of the grades achieved during a challenging year for all students. This year, our AP candidates achieved an 89% pass rate and an impressive average mean score of 3.9, which is significantly higher than the world average of 3.15. In addition, 36% of our students received the maximum score of 5 and 69% achieved a score of 4 or higher.

Commenting on the Advanced Placement results achieved, Head of School Bryan Nixon explained: “This has been the most challenging year that our AP students and our School has ever faced. Despite these challenges, the high pass rate and excellent scores that are well above the global results are testament to the success of our programs, the many hours of dedicated learning from our students, and the purposeful teaching facilitated by our faculty both on campus and online.

As we celebrate our students’ successes, what we are most proud of is the fact that our resilient students continue to nurture their intellectual curiosity and are ready to play their part as they engage in the learning opportunities that lie ahead, here at TASIS and in their new learning communities and universities.”
