At a virtual Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, June 6, we honored the hard work and achievements of the 107 resilient students of the senior class.
The videotaped event included all of the usual elements of graduation, including a welcome from Head of School Bryan Nixon and the valedictory address given by Martina Insulla '20.
Following the presentation of awards, student-provided clips featured each graduate as their names were announced by Ms. Sue Petrone, Head of Upper School. The event ended with a video celebrating some of the memories of the Class of 2020.
On Sunday, June 7, graduates who are in the local area were able to participate in a drive-through event. They were greeted by Mr. Nixon and Ms. Petrone as they arrived in decorated cars, collected their diplomas, and had their photo taken. They also received a delicious celebration cupcake and several keepsake gifts. You can see a few pictures of the day by clicking HERE. Packages that include diplomas and gifts were also posted to all of the graduates who were unable to join in due to distance and circumstances.
With every good wish for the future, we offer sincere congratulations to the Class of 2020!
