Students Share Peaceful Messages with TASIS England Community on International Peace Day
Posted 21/09/2015 03:50PM

Today, on International Peace Day, members of the TASIS Wildlife Roots & Shoots club dedicated time to join millions of others worldwide to promote the message of peace.

The group gathered together this morning for a peace march, holding a large white peace dove, which they had created from sheets and wood. Students also held individual white peace doves made from card, each with a loving message of peace written on the back. As they paraded around the campus, students gave their cards to passers-by from our community, bringing smiles to each and every face.

Messages included:

“When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.”

“Be kind on Peace Day.”

“Let’s work together to make our world more peaceful for everyone.”

“Be at peace not in pieces.”

“Let there be peace on earth.”

“Peace is perfect.”

“Look for the best in others.”
