The TASIS England community joined together for the annual International Festival on Friday, October 10th to celebrate its multicultural diversity.
Lower school students began the festivities with a colorful dress parade, dressed in colorful international costumes. The jubilant atmosphere continued inside the food marquee, where students, parents, and teachers sampled the international treats on offer while being entertained by live steel drums. A variety of nationalities served their countries’ most authentic foods. Swedish candies, Canadian maple syrup treats, Panamanian rice, sushi, pasta, cakes of all kind, plantain, curry, noodles, hotdogs, cured meats, and pastries were among some of the delightful homemade treats on offer.
