The TASIS England Art Department welcomed fellow colleagues on Friday to celebrate the renovation of the ceramics classroom.
The classroom has been remodelled and transformed into a beautiful studio, which is used by students from all divisions. The space includes a superb new kiln system consisting of 2 kilns and ventilation, storage units and restored furniture from the old classroom. The new kiln system was purchased thanks in part to funding from the TASIS Parents Association. The fusion of old with new has created a light and creative space for all to enjoy!
Art teacher, Ms. Szabo, teaches in the classroom and is thrilled with the result of the renovation project, “ I am just so happy that our students have such a beautiful space to work in. The kiln has already been fired up and we are already working on ideas for ceramic projects.”
