The TASIS England community joined together for the annual International Festival on Friday, October 12th to celebrate the multicultural diversity of the school.
Lower school students began the festivities with a colorful dress parade, snaking around the grounds with beaming smiles and extravagant international costumes. The jubilant atmosphere continued inside the food marquee, where thirty different nationalities served their countries’ most authentic foods. Sushi, pasta, cakes, plantain, curry, noodles, hotdogs, Swedish candies, cured meats, and pastries were among some of the delightful homemade treats on offer.
To round up the event, groups of students performed a Korean dance, an Irish jig, and an impressive Taekwondo demonstration on the outside amphitheatre.
